In another exciting Children’s Day celebration organized by Caritas Nigeria, our team in Adamawa State, through the support of UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency-funded Child Protection project, gathered children at the @caritasnigeria child-friendly space to mark this year's event under the Theme: "Enhancing the Total Wellbeing of Children through Quality Education and Skills Development".
The occasion featured various educational and fun-filled activities, including engaging games, cultural dances, and presentations by partners on "Education and Mental Health in Children". These activities fostered a sense of enthusiasm and unity among the youngsters, emphasizing their unique and special qualities.
The event was graced by the Ministry of Women's Affairs, represented by Hauwa Musa Sa-ad, as well as other humanitarian partner organisations. This Children’s Day celebration highlighted the importance of community support and collective effort in nurturing the well-being and self-esteem of #children, reinforcing the message that every child is special and beautiful in their own way.
