The Caritas Nigeria Good Governance Thematic Area aims at creating a transparent and accountable society where citizens are active participants in taking decisions that affect their lives.

Interventions revolve around integral human development using the existing structures of the church in Nigeria, majorly the Justice Development and Peace Commission (JDPC).

The Good Governance portfolio deploys advocacy, capacity development and strategic engagement with government and stakeholders as tools to achieve its objectives.
