In another exciting Children’s Day celebration organized by Caritas Nigeria, our team in Adamawa State, through the support of UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency-funded Child Protection project, gathered children at the @caritasnigeria child-friendly space to mark this year's event under the Theme: "Enhancing the Total Wellbeing of Children through Quality Education and Skills Development".

In a concerted effort to foster collaboration and devise strategies to combat gender-based violence (GBV), our field office in Enugu State recently engaged in a meeting with the State Human Rights Commission, with both organizations discussing key aspects of the campaign against the pervasive issue of Gender Based Violence in Nigeria.

As part of the ongoing activities for the 16 days of activism against gender-based violence (GBV), our staff working on the Child Protection (Refugee Response) Project funded by UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, in partnership with the Borno Women Development Initiative Maiduguri and IOM Nigeria held a public awareness and sensitization rally against all forms of Gender Based Violence in Mubi and Michika local government areas of Adamawa State.
