As part of the activities to strengthen resource mobilization at the diocesan level, a 3-day workshop on result mobilization was facilitated in Jos from May 17th – 20th 2022.
The objective of the training was to ensure that participating dioceses could position themselves with potential donors; to develop capability statements. The workshop had in attendance 18 persons (4 females and 14 males) drawn from 10 Dioceses.
The training utilized participatory methodologies that included group work and presentations and also discussions.
At the end of the training, the Dioceses were supported to develop an organizational capability statement, they also learned best practices in positioning themselves with donors. They developed a mapping of donors who fund similar projects and which they can approach.
