Caritas Nigeria's Child Protection team in Adamawa State, with funding support from UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency through UNHCR Nigeria recently enrolled the first batch of Cameroonian refugee children in life skill activities across the project locations.
In a coaching session organized by Caritas Nigeria, the teenage children, aged 14-17 years, and some caregivers were trained in the production of "Taliya", a locally made pasta, whereas their male counterparts were trained in barbing.
The event also featured an intensive sensitisation on financial literacy, aimed at preparing the children and their caregivers with the requisite skills and knowledge for the success of the activity.
