Caritas Nigeria's ACCESS project technical team based in our country office and providing direct support to our Enugu State team recently carried out a site activation exercise for HIV and tuberculosis interventions in one of the clinics inherited from Global fund in the state.
supporting country office backstops working on the ACCESS project funded by The U.S. President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) and CDC in partnership with the Centre for Clinical Care and Clinical Research Nigeria
The workshop, which was conducted in conjunction with the Centre for Clinical Care and Clinical Research Nigeria, aimed at speeding up the PEPFAR-implemented modalities and providing technical support through mentorship to equip new hires with the requisite knowledge to provide HIV/TB services for people living with HIV in the region.
The team walked the facility staff through different thematic areas of the Accelerated Control of HIV Epidemic and Sustainability Solutions (ACCESS) project with the overall objective of providing quality care while achieving epidemic control in Enugu State.
