Last week 22nd of March 2024, Caritas Nigeria's Tuberculosis (TB) project team in Enugu State met with the South Saharan Social Development Organization and other community-based organizations (CBOs) for the onboarding of CBOs that will partner with Caritas Nigeria to implement The Global Fund Grant Cycle 7 (GF GC7) project.
The meeting saw a presentation on the objectives of the GF GC7 project, which include increasing TB testing and HIV coverage, mapping out traditional birth attendants' sites, enhancing TB/HIV prevention and treatment services, expanding HIV testing services for pregnant women, and creating a calendar for TB testing activities.
 
In addition, the participants were educated on the use and features of the CommCare Application software, which is designed to track and support their clients with registration forms, and checklists, among other functionalities.
The workshop is a testament to Caritas  Nigeria's efforts in strengthening its collaboration with stakeholders in the fight against tuberculosis and HIV in Enugu State.
