To ensure that marginalized populations have equitable access to HIV care, treatment, and support services, our team in Enugu State recently trained patient tracking and retention personnel, who will further strengthen the capacity of over 60 hires working in our supported service delivery facilities in the state.
Among other objectives, the session focused on reviewing Caritas Nigeria's current level of treatment interruption in people living with HIV, facility-by-facility, and monitoring patients' monthly appointment compliance.

The intensive training will ultimately boost the capacity of our new hires in this field, enabling them to understand their roles in handling clients supported by The U.S. President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) and CDC through the Accelerated Control of HIV Epidemic and Sustainability Solutions (ACCESS) project.
