In a bid to enhance cooperation with our partners and quality performance on the Accelerated Control of HIV Epidemic and Sustainability Solutions (ACCESS) project funded by The U.S. President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) through the CDC, our team implementing the
Orphans and Vulnerable Children's (OVC) intervention - a component of the ACCESS project in Enugu State met with our collaborators to reflect on program activities and discuss key improvement areas.

Collectively, Caritas Nigeria and her partners reviewed their success stories, semi-annual program reports, and the Patient Biometric Survey (PBS) coverage for enrolled beneficiaries/household verification and designed plans for the next quarter of the year. The gathering included a representative of Catholic Relief Services and representatives of community-based organizations namely, the Justice Development and Peace Commissions (JDPC) of Enugu and Nsukka Dioceses, African Network for the Prevention and Protection Against Child Abuse and Neglect, Global Health Awareness Research Foundation, and Twinning Support for Health Initiative.

In attendance also was the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Child, Gender and Social Development, Mrs. Nkechi Ewoh, who pledged to foster collaborations between the ministry and the OVC program through gender-related matters.
